Elizabeth Holder has explored a range of topics in her work as a producer and director. She most recently produced, with Xan Parker and director Ivy Meeropol, the critically acclaimed documentary series The Hill for the Sundance Channel. She directed and produced the documentary feature Risk/Reward (with Xan Parker, executive producer Peter Gilbert) about women on Wall Street, which was released theatrically and aired on Oxygen. Her film and television credits include directing the short film Weekend Getaway, which won a Special Jury Prize at the New York/Avignon Film Festival and featured Jill Hennessy, Will Arnett and John Seitz; directing Blue's Clues for Nick Jr.; field producing First Year for MTV Docs; writing and directing the parody Pet Swap; directing the short film The Diversion; producing and directing (with Jill Hennessy) the mockumentary The Acting Class; and serving as executive producer on Dasha Snyder's hit series The D Word. Holder graduated with honors from Smith College and currently works and resides in Los Angeles.
